Vichenza - Rebranding

Vichenza is a company specialized in lighting projects, with the differential of producing customized luminaires in addition to large scale projects. We were called to execute some folders and presentations, but soon we realized several communication failures, both strategic and graphic. 

Thus, a one-off job evolved into a complete branding project, from market and competition analysis to the creation of a new positioning, a company manifesto, a new brand and all of its graphic developments within the company, all of which resulted in a full brandbook. 







The logo redesign process

The old logo had 2 important features: the symbol shape and the colors.

The main concept was the light reflection, trying to form the letter V. And the colors were chosen by the founder because of the Italian flag (red and green) and the Italian national soccer team uniform (blue), because of the family's italian heritage and company name - Vichenza is the city their ancestors were born. And we noticed the colours are also RGB - the light color palette - a great addition for the concept. 

We removed all the effects, used a more professional font and made the symbol more like a V, which gave us room to customize the font a little. Those shapes and colors were the foundation to the whole project.





The brand concept

Vichenza's old slogan was just a description of what they did: lighting systems. 

We dug deeper into the company's processes and found out several key points that differentiated them from competition, being the main points "customization" and "simple processes" - or putting into words, you can create anything and we can do it for you, in any scale, with no complications.

Their main clients are light designers and architects, we came up with a call to their creativity: Imagine, simplify, light. 

The work and its conclusion were presented to the whole company, marking a new phase of management and growth, unifying the work of strategy and design so that the change occurred from the inside out.
